Precautionary measures • All guests, employees, contractors and suppliers will have to check in and out of the hotel premises via Safe Entry for contact tracing purposes. • Thorough and frequent disinfection and sanitisation of public areas, guest rooms and equipment with high touch points. • Ensuring that social distancing of at least one metre is in place at all public areas. • Provision of hand sanitisers around the public area.
Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures (VDS) for Hotels
From 1 February 2022, VDS will be expanded to hotels. Only guests and visitors who meet the following will be given access to the rooms: a. Fully vaccinated[3]; or
b. Recovered from COVID-19 in Singapore with unvaccinated or incomplete vaccinated status within 180 days, starting from the day of the first positive PCR test result, or positive healthcare-administered ART result for symptomatic persons; or c. Children aged 12 years old and below who are unvaccinated; or d. Certified medically ineligible.
For clarity, unvaccinated or partially vaccinated individuals may enter the hotel, premises, but will not be allowed to enter the parts of the premises where sleeping facilities are provided (e.g. guest floor and guest rooms).

Upgraded cleanliness procedures Public area and hotel rooms • Hospital-grade disinfectant cleaner (Aeris Active) will be applied to constantly protect surfaces ensuring that the surface is virus and bacteria free. • Self check-in kiosks with facial recognition reduces the need for human contact. These will be disinfected thoroughly and frequently. • The use of air ionizers to purify the air for all rooms and public area. • Automated SoftBank Whiz robot to vacuum public areas, reducing human contact and increasing cleaning frequency.
Meetings and events • All events will have seats arranged 1-metre apart. • Event venues are sanitised with hospital-grade disinfectants before and after an event. • Washrooms will be sanitised frequently. • Limited number of participants will be allowed for each meeting or event.
Food and beverage • New product offerings including Do-It-Yourself meal kits, ready-to-eat meals and more. • Usage of additional Personal Protective Equipment including mouth-shields. • The use of ultraviolet light to disinfect all cutleries, killing bacteria. • Capsule ice-cream dispenser. • Frequent change of serving gears. • All tables will be arranged 1-metre apart. |
